With over a decade of experience as a Physician Assistant, primarily in family practice and geriatrics, Ana is passionate about building a healthcare system that promotes patient safety and dignity, while maintaining financial viability through consistent fiscal management and staff engagement. Ana has a background in outpatient healthcare management and administration. She is dedicated about mentoring pre-health students, believing that this is essential to diversifying the healthcare workforce.

Karla Rugamas, PA-C, MCHS
As Chief Operating Officer, Karla has pursued her dream of helping the community where she was raised. A proud Angeleno, she is dedicated to serving underserved communities and making a positive impact. Karla is a Physician Assistant with over 11 years of experience and holds a PA degree from the University of Washington. She remains committed to using her skills and expertise to uplift those in need and improve access to quality healthcare.

Christopher Quevedo
Christopher’s deep passion for helping others led him to join Vida during its early development, where he made significant contributions to the community. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in aerospace from California State University, Northridge. Currently, Christopher is a Lead IFPO Outside Plant Technician at AT&T. Dedicated to Vida’s vision, he remains enthusiastic about contributing to the organization’s growth and enhancing its impact on the community.

Atilio Rugamas is a seasoned marketing professional with over 15 years of experience in creating and executing impactful marketing strategies. Atilio attended California State University, Long Beach, and pursued a degree in Visual Communication, which has equipped him with a robust foundation in visual and strategic marketing. With extensive experience in marketing and healthcare, he is committed to helping enhance the clinic's brand presence and amplify its impact within the community.

Jessica holds a degree in Business Administration and brings over 11 years of experience in managing an educational online business. She is deeply passionate about health equity and ensuring accessibility to care, regardless of income or insurance status. Jessica is also a strong advocate for education and is inspired by Vida's commitment to mentoring the next generation of healthcare providers, cultivating compassionate leaders who serve their communities.

For over twenty years, Cecilia has worked in primary care clinics, holding various roles in management and administration. She holds a Masters of Public Administration and Leadership and joined Vida because she is deeply committed to their mission of advocating for equitable healthcare access and supporting the next generation of healthcare professionals. She believes that quality healthcare should be a universal right, regardless of socioeconomic status.

Holly, a retired physician assistant, co-founded the Foot Hygiene Clinic for the unhoused in the San Fernando Valley in 2022, in partnership with North Valley Caring Services. Throughout her career, Holly has been a steadfast advocate for accessible healthcare. Her dedication to Vida's mission shines through her commitment to training pre-med and pre-PA students, while providing vital medical care to uninsured and unhoused patients. Holly's passion for healthcare equity continues to drive her impactful contributions.
